The Editor

We want to get to know you and your poetry, so here’s a little about Railroad:

Co-founder, Editor, Literary Critic: Amanda Claire Eades

Personal blog: http://aceades.wordpress.com

Passionate about critical dialogue and communication in the literary world, Amanda is an English Literature graduate and is currently undertaking a Masters’ degree in literature, culture and society. Viewing criticism as an art in its own right, and extolling the importance of a living dialogue between contemporary poets, Amanda is working on this project to give poets the platform they need to get the coverage they deserve. Amanda is the director of the Railroad Poetry Project, and loves to hear from anyone about anything remotely poetry related.

If you have any questions about the project, please do not hesitate to contact Amanda at railroadpoetryproject@gmail.com.

Co-founder: J. L. Willetts

Personal blog: http://jlwilletts.wordpress.com

Irritated by the lack of support for the struggling new poet, Willetts is pioneering Railroad as a platform for the quieted poets of today. A natural-born creative writer with a passion for words, the one thing that troubled Willetts was the lack of dialogue between publishers and submitters: this frustration bore the promise that Railroad would become the online port for poets who feel they do not ‘fit’ into the stipulated criteria of many online and print poetry publications, whilst also providing an online platform to showcase the talent in the contemporary online community of poets as a whole. J. L. Willetts is an English Literature graduate and has had work published in a variety of publications, both online and in print.

Jade’s first poetry collection, The Beauty of being Hated is available here.
